Encouraged by a love of reading, inspired by her ancestors and historical figures, and emboldened by a love of children and their healthy expression and being, Jessica Sally founded The Brownie Collective to re-produce The Brownies' Book and other forms of media. With a goal of large impact, she has worked her way from tutoring sessions in her Harlem neighborhood to teaching in K- 12 classrooms to influencing Pre-K for All policy with quantitative data analysis to managing tech projects at the US Dream Academy and Sesame Workshop. Jessica earned her B.A. from Stetson University in Political Science and American Studies, minor in Education. After her fellowship at Match Charter Public High School she, in 2014, she earned a M.A. from Brown University in Urban Education Policy. Jessica is currently a Creator-in-Residence at Kickstarter planning a campaign for The Brownies' Book production. Start-up campaign will launch in February 2018.
